The brothers Mo'men and Abdel Fattah Salim Hammad, Abdel Fattah's son, the child Bilal Hammad, and their cousin, the lawyer Dr. Hatem Khalil Hammad, were killed as a result of the targeting of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip yesterday.

With hearts full of faith, yet heavy with sorrow, pain, and helplessness, I bid farewell to my brothers, my support, my strength, my pride, and the light of my life, who have ascended to Paradise as martyrs, by the permission of their Lord. By God, the mind is incapable of comprehending, the soul groans from the intensity of the loss, and the heart is broken by the separation. My martyred brother, the virtuous engineer, Abdul Fattah Salim Hammad "Abu Bilal," and his beloved son, Bilal Abdul Fattah Hammad, and my martyred brother, the wise and virtuous Mu'min Salim Hammad "Abu Al-Walid." By God, my back is broken by your departure, you kindest and most compassionate of people. By God, I was so proud of you in this world, but Paradise has called for you, and my beloved martyred father has summoned you. He never knew how to live without you, and even in the Hereafter, he will not know how to live without you.
